Kenwood’s NX-1700H/1800H mobile radio series—including the NX-1700H (VHF) and NX-1800H (UHF)—is designed to deliver dependable, cost-effective mobile communications for public safety, transportation, utilities, construction, education, and commercial users requiring flexible analog and digital operation. Built with Kenwood’s “One Radio” multi-protocol platform, the NX-1700/1800 series supports analog FM, NXDN digital, and optional DMR operation through software licensing, allowing organizations to migrate from analog to digital communications at their own pace without replacing hardware. Featuring high-power mobile performance, customizable displays, enhanced audio quality, and extensive channel capacity, these radios are well suited for fleet vehicles, dispatch operations, and day-to-day field communications. Designed for durability and long-term reliability, the NX-1700/1800 series meets MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F/G/H and IP54 standards while providing advanced operational features typically found in higher-tier radio platforms.
